Moxie is one of those things you have to be exposed to early in life to appreciate. The earlier the better.

I grew up in Massachusetts, but remember Moxie from my early childhood when we used to summer in Maine. I learned to love the stuff.

I still love it. There is nothing so 'thirst quenching' as an ice-cold Moxie. Diet's my favorite.

Like so many other horrors it helps if you're introduced to it while young.
