Caravaners were left baffled when the mysterious cylinder hovered over a busy campsite in Brean, Somerset. They claimed the unidentified black metal object stands out clearly against the blue sky, where it can be seen darting up and down for more than 10 minutes.

Some one threw their pen up in the air!
About a year ago, something very similar was seen in NW Louisiana, it turned out to be a balloon from a local car dealership that broke loose.
Thanks.
Of course, the naysayers will have all manner of silly explanations.
I don’t know what it is but (in the video) it is quite clear.
There are three reasons why it is a UFO:
1. It is unidentified,
2. It is flying (or, at least, it’s in the air), and
3. It is an object.
Case closed.
It never seems to cross the consciousness of the naysayers . . .
that even if it were LESS than the usual 5% of sightings that are authentically super strange and inexplicable . . .
even if it were 0.001%.
That would be quite enough.
Willful blindness is such a fascinating psychological/sociological phenomenon.
Is that a flying sausage? /s LOL
Tip-off phrase: "One grabbed his video camera and managed to capture its strange, erratic movements in the sky." i.e. affected by wind currents.
And we have "UFO expert Malcolm Robinson said the object was "totally consistent" with other sightings.
Mr Robinson, who runs UFO group Strange Phenomena Investigations, said: "This video of a UFO is clearly very exciting.
"While UFOs are commonly thought to be spherical in shape, we receive dozens of calls from people who have spotted similar cylinder-shaped objects.
"There is, of course, an argument that this could be a weather balloon or some other common object.
"But my research has shown that it is totally consistent with other UFO sightings, none of which have been hoaxes or naturally-occurring phenomenon."
This is an embarrassment to those who are trying to get to the bottom of this phenomena. He is too credulous. At some point a couple of kids will admit to the Hefty-hoax and this guy, besides having egg on his face, will damage honest investigators.
LOL.
I think he’d be a bit more accurate doubled over in a contortionist style, with his head . . . uhhhhh . . . in a dark place.
Conceivable.
Yet . . . quite possibly, not the case.
Case closed.
Maybe! A few years ago I remember seeing (on a TV show) someone who got film of a bright rhombus-like shaped UFO darting as t astronomical speeds across the sky. They and everyone else was POSITIVE it was proof of a UFO especially when a few months later someone else on the other side of the globe caught footage of the exact same UFO. But ... upon further investigation it was revealed that they were both using the same model camera and were chasing rare light glints in the camera. Usually the simple explanations are the best explanations.
I see a small black stick in a sea of blue...reminds me of Obama’s election. (must be some kind of ink-blot test).
