Just wondering if it was still going on. I haven't seen the daily body counts, protests, cost analyses, etc. Just curious.
LOL ....
THEY didn’t want it, don’t care much
about our security because it insults
our enemies; therefore,
it’s out back, under the rotting food
and empty bottles and cans, at the bottom
of the dumpster.
Somebody may just have their number:

Iraq’s Maliki says Biden criticism “out of date”

“I believe talk about applying pressure on the Iraqi government or taking hard measures against it no longer works,” he said at a news conference in Baghdad with visiting French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
“Such speech is out of date, because the government of Iraq knows its responsibilities and acts accordingly in a strong way.”

YAY!!
I checked with my husband. He reports that we’re still at war. (So glad I could be of some assistance.)
I don't think this is a war anymore. It's much, much calmer these days.
If anything, it may be the tail-end of a mop-up operation.
Iraq doesn't feel like a war zone so much now.
Well, cool. Now if we could only get his sixth deployment to Iraq turned off for later this year ....
Well, it's a much more mellow place now than the zoo it was a couple of years ago. The insane days seem to be past us.
I'm in my sixth year. Looking back, it's all been worth it.
VDH just reported that 7 troops were killed in Iraq last month. There were 40 murders in Chicago during the same time period. I’m looking for a surge into the Windy City but I just don’t think the place is ready for democracy.
Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia...
Go to MySA.com and hit Military. Because San Antonio is a military town with four bases, we have alot of news re: Iraq, Afghanistan and the military one does not see anywhere else. It is an excellent source for positive stories about the soldiers also.
We have a journalist here, Sig Christenson, who has recently been in Iraq. He has written excellent articles about the war and the soldiers. He and the soldiers often become friends and they stay in touch with him. You might want to read his stories on MySA.com
The LameStreamMedia has forgotten about it. To get all the News that the LameStreamMedia refuses to use do a KEYWORD Search on FRWN withing FR.
