I learned the hard way that it is a kindness to ask and allow others to help you. We feel so helpless seeing others suffer and often would feel better if we could do something to help.
When no one asks, or refuses offers made, we continue to feel helpless and our suffering friends struggle alone. God wouldn't want that. He wants us to lean on each other too. We can demonstrate God's love for you by loving you ourselves. I'm grateful for the opportunity.
Thanks for the ping, STARWISE
Prayers for you and your daughter.

prayers for you all dear friend. How very scary!
I too have a daughter named Katie, so prayers have winged upward.
If she is unconcious when you get to her, remember to talk to her as if she hears you—because she does.
Don’t lose hope—not a sparrow falls that He does take notice of—and isn’t she worth far more then sparrows?
Prayer bump.
Prayers sent for your daughter, her family and her mom.
My husband suffered a major stroke at the end of October (last year), with the help of the doctors, therapists and medication he is just fine today. The only “problem” he has is he has lost a taste for certain foods, while having more cravings for others.
One of the most important things we learned from this experience was that if you get to the hospital within three hours after your first symptoms, there is medication they can give you that will reduce the side effects.
Prayers going up for Katie, your Son In Law and grandchildren. Please do not make yourself sick with anxiety as stated upthread, instead just pray. Your son needs you also right now and your SIL will call as soon as possible.
I join in urgent prayer for Katie!
Your daughter Katie will be in my prayers.
Prayers for Katie now and as she recovers. The rehab will help a lot.
Heartfelt prayers.
Prayers up from a fellow Ohioan, KitKat.
Prayers said.
May God’s hand touch Katie and make her well. In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
