The object was spotted by the pilot of Olympic Airways flight 266 from Athens, and the sighting was corroborated by staff at Athens Airport and a nearby Greek air force base. Pilots of two other passenger jets also reported seeing the body.The eyewitnesses described it as looking like a large star, although it was moving erratically and constantly changing shape.Two fighter jets were sent to investigate the sighting over the Greek capital in November 2007 but the object shot up into the sky and vanished before they could get a clear view.

UFO’s as defined are real. Unidentified Flying Objects. Whether those flying objects are from outer space or wherever (or whenever) is unknown.

August 18, 2009 Albuquerque, New Mexico - While I was in England July 24 to August 11, 2009, I met Ryan O'Hara, cameraman working with a documentary film crew that had been doing a night watch on top of 5,000-year-old Silbury Hill from 3 AM to dawn in the early morning hours of July 5. As the sunset turned to darkness on July 4th around 10 PM, no one amid all the air traffic over the ancient Avebury and Silbury complex had reported any new formation across the road from the 130-foot-tall Silbury Hill.

But near 4:15 AM, cameraman Ryan O'Hara spotted a shadowy line in the hilltop wheat field south of Silbury Hill and the Roman Road and ran his visible light camera in the pre-dawn. He gave me permission to reprint his first greenish image, followed by more detail as dawn light increased to first sunrise images when the heavy dew sparkled undisturbed without any human presence in the wheat.

No humans on the ground made this. IMO, same technology that sign makers and/or clothing manufacturers use in cutting patterns...using the wheat field as the fabric/template.

Humans? Maybe...but walking on the ground...in the middle of the night...in a pouring rain? Don't think so.

MoD releases 800 UFO sightings

Bizarre accounts of around 800 UFO sightings were released yesterday by the MoD.

They included a tale of aliens with lemon-shaped heads who tried to abduct two schoolboys and a spaceship firing lasers at a graveyard.

The reports have been released in a joint project by the MoD and the National Archives to open up their records to the public.

Among them are more than 30 sightings of bright lights over central England in just six hours in March 1993 which were caused by a Russian rocket. The most dramatic case involved the two boys who saw a UFO hovering over a field in Chasetown, Staffs, in May 1995.

They wrote a report saying a figure with a lemon-shaped head emerged and told them: "Come with us." The boys fled as the UFO, which gave off an intense heat, zoomed off.

Your picture of the UFO reminds me of pictures in a book by George Adamski(SP) which were Aliens from Venus. I saw it in my parents bookcase in the 50’s and read it. God there were spacemen from venus, it said so. I ran downstairs to proclaim this message. My Mom gave me this look and said Oh we forgot to throw that away, It’s trash.
