"Anything that threatens the integrity of the Census has profound implications."

I seem to recall that in the 2000 census, the libs wanted several controversial things that both threatened the integrity of the census. They received one but not the other:

They wanted no distinction between citizens, residents, and illegal aliens. Millions of dollars were spent on advertising assuring illegals that census takers would not turn them in, to ensure that the illegals answered the door. Libs succeeded here.

Libs wanted computerized adjustment of totals in certain districts in the event that doors weren't answered. Talk about "integrity" ! But I think they lost this one.

Don't trust this initiative for a second.

I do remember that. It created a public outcry, as this new scam should.
