Thanks, it is an important read.

John Caldera also tackled this last night, scary as it can get.

You may be able to find the first couple hours of his program from last night here:

COULD WE TALK A LITTLE ABOUT HOW TO SURVIVE, WHEN THE LAST PAYCHECK HAS BEEN SPENT???

WHERE WILL YOU GET THE FOOD TO FEED THE KIDS???

WHERE WILL YOU LIVE???

WHAT WILL YOU DO NEXT???

WHERE WILL I FIND A JOB???

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO BRIDGE THE GAP???<<<<<<

Granny, I hate to say it, but they will have to hit bottom in many cases before they will start the road back up.

Somewhat like a junkie - they are going to have to get low enough to decide that dignity, status, pride, and greed won’t get them ahead - Taking that dirty, grimy work just for food and shelter will have to look better to them than the starvation they face.

Years ago, Great Uncle Johnnie had a store here in our nearest town. He had an old fellow who was not the sharpest knife in the drawer who was down and out - he had him sweep the store, stock and straighten the shelves, take out the trash or whatever needed doing, and in return, he got meals, one of the rooms in the attic and a little spending money from time to time. He ate with the family, and received birthday, Christmas and other presents of clothes and other items. Today, Uncle Johnnie couldn’t do that. He would have to pay minimum wage, pay payroll taxes and have his housing inspected. Must be that Ronald Reagan was right - ‘Government is the problem.’

Oh, and Uncle Johnnie used to have 5 or 6 ‘Sunshine Kids’ from the inner city who came and spent the summer helping out in return for gardening, delivering groceries, etc. All that would be out too. And those kids would never know the wonders of the world outside their ghetto.
