This county is hit hard because there are so many liberals there .

Now the reality is so severe that a few adults are pushing for defensible spaces near homes and towns that this is finally coming forward.

The second issue of a healthy forest is also making some headway.

Both in Summit County and all over the state.

Other western states have these two issues, too.

It amazes me that all areas don’t have common sense ordinances such as this. This proposal is almost identical to the ordinance Los Angeles county has had for nearly fifty years, it was enacted due to the Bel-Air fire. It not only protects structures but protects the brush and forestland in the event of structure fires.
