"No. We didn't find a weapon in this particular case,” said Sherry Llewellyn, a spokeswoman for the department, “but that doesn't mean that there wasn't good information that there were weapons there before we had a chance to get inside the house."

Sorry, Spokeswoman Sherry. The fact that nothing was found means exactly that "there wasn't good information ..."

Just curious. Does anyone reading this trust your government?

“anyone reading this trust your government?”

I wonder how many decades ago it was when I did trust the government. I think it was back in high school, before I knew our government.

I have never distrusted the government more than I do now.

Disturbing development number one thousand happened yesterday, when it was made public that The Fuhrer wants Rahm Emmanuel’s dirty hands on the next Census. Oh, nothing suspicious about that is there? Nah.

We need to start holding these "spokesperson's" feet to the fire for trafficking in doubletalk.

Lets pick a house, any house, aand break down the door and hope we find something.

If there is nothing there and we kill their dog we can always say sorry leave and tell the papers that we had good evidence that there was ———— in the house.

Federal government, not since Reagan. State and local, never that I can recall. I was an anti-hippie patriot in the 60's but as a rather libertarian conservative, could seldom argue with their indictment of the exercise of police power by the State. You only need one run-in with an honest-to-god dishonest a-hole PIG to solve that dilemma. Permanently.
