WASHINGTON, The U.S. Homeland Security Department building was evacuated on Friday after receiving suspicious dead fish and white powder. According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the department was briefly evacuated after an employee received a package containing a dead fish and white powder. The authorities has made a swift response to the reports on the suspicious package delivered to the department office in downtown Washington, D.C., said FBI spokeswoman Kate Schweit. She also said that the area around the office has been secured by local police and fire department, and the package has been taken to a lab for test. The incidents evoked memory of the anthrax letters that killed five people and stirred panic in the U.S. right after the Sept. 11,2001, terrorist attacks.

Rahm Emanuel up to his old tricks again?
They stopped screening the mail?
Were the “suspicious dead fish” behaving oddly?
What kind of fish? Was it fresh? Pickeled herring?
Ooh. I wonder if this kind of thing happened during the Bush term and we just didn’t hear about it. Not likely, huh? Well. We’ll see if this type of thing continues. Somebody’s emboldened.
They just told terrorists around the world how to create confusion and panic in the “security” department, and paralyze their operations, so that terrorists can plan a real attack.
If only the ‘workers’ would stay out.....forever!
“Rahm Emanuel up to his old tricks again?”

Some lad from New Mexico was recently arrested in connection with the mailing of over 40 “powdered” offerings, but seemed to have copycats doing the same thing.
One such letter was received in NJ a couple of days ago-and was handled so badly (security guard just swept up the white powder and tossed it into the trash-along with the letter) as to make anyone halfway knowledgeable cringe.

Maybe it was for Luca Brazzi, but the PO delivered it to the wrong place.
