Huh? Neither Tatze nor I ever stated that SeeBS did not cast veterans on the show. I simply stated that Tatze’s idea of an all-veteran Survivor probably would not be accepted by SeeBS because I couldn’t see SeeBS doing something that pro-military.
I’ve watched Survivor since the first season. I know what I’m talking about. In fact, one of my favorite contestants is Rudy, the former Navy SEAL from Season 1. I’m well aware of veterans being cast for the show. I just can’t see SeeBS doing an all-veteran season.
napscoordinator, if my criticism of SeeBS offends you...well, then that’s your problem. And what makes you think you need to resort to personal attacks and name-calling to make your point? I do this thread for the enjoyment of FR’s Survivor fans. I’d appreciate it if you would show some respect and refrain from the personal attacks.
I always wanted me a Talking Rudy Doll.
Back in 2002 Mark Burnett did a survivor show with veterans and S.W.A.T. officers. If I remember correctly S.W.A.T. won.
Rudy was the host and it was great.
COMBAT MISSIONS http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0283177/
It originally aired on some cable channel, they never renewed the show. Maybe it wasn't renewed because of low ratings, or because we went to war, or because their was no backstabbing or lying. But the show was great.
One of the contestants was later killed in Iraq.
Scott Helvenston - the youngest Navy Seal. RIP Sir and Thank you for my freedom.
