Etta was dissed bigtime. Beyonce play acting Etta in a movie is one thing; but after B had sung earlier at the Immaculation...why have a repeat performer performance? Why not have the original come and do the song? They propped up Aretha hat and all...(and the chapeau is now in the Smithsonian!?!?!?!) Anywho...Ms. James should have been given her props, and invited. I (honestly) thought I had missed her passing somehow (between the movie) and then Beyonce doing the song for the 'Dance.' There are some songs that no one else should ever touch...At Last is one of them. For the current cast of Democratic characters though, I would have suggested Cher's 'Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves.' But I am sentimental like that...
We must all realize sooner than later that we 0 is the Pop President with a marketing campaign directed to the Pepsi generation who he knows will keep the liberal agenda alive and well. Older folks be damned.
