Even the most ardent lib gets fed up with the city. Those who don’t should get their heads examined.
You sound like her! I’ve never heard such a complete turn-around from someone. She had all these celeb run-ins and working with weirdos, and her “friends” wanted nothing to do with her once she left the city—understandable that people drift apart, but heck, we stayed in contact for 10 years after she left.
I’m sure it’s an interesting place to live, but not to settle in.
