Anyone looks smart next to Biden...perhaps even Al the Bore (this is merely conjecture...).
Biden is, ACTUALLY, what the press claimed about Quayle- stupid.
I think one of the reasons he picked Biden is that there’s no question that Biden’s stupid and therefore wouldn’t upstage Barry (who knows that he’s not that bright himself); I think he’s what used to be called “assassination insurance.”
But the real reason was to present a bumbling, non-threatening old white guy (although with a radical voting record) and also to get the Catholic vote. The bishops blew it on that one, because they could easily have stopped Biden once he began challenging them on Catholic doctrine. He should have been firmly corrected and then excommunicated until he acknowledged the truth. But maybe they were so stunned by his chutzpah that they couldn’t react in time! Or they were cowards, and Barry’s plan worked.
Both of them have the intelligence of bellybutton lint, although Biden’s is at the lower limit of belly button lint. He’s so stupid, he’s giving stupid people a bad name!!
Without the teleprompter and someone else’s words, the Obamessiah can’t put two words together to make a coherent, much less complete, sentence.
And, the Dems claimed that Bush was dumb!! Have they LISTENED to either of these guys???
Many people think you are smart if you have the ability to talk about things in a smooth manner, and give them conclusions that they happen to agree with. That’s not being smart, that’s just being articulate, but it does impress some.

I think it would be safe to say that Obama has a higher IQ than Biden. However, I would also think it’s safe to say that both have an IQ between 110-120. Nothing particularly stellar there.

There’s IQ and then there’s wisdom - qualities sorely lacking in our President and our Vice-President.
IMHO we have two wind-bags: One who needs a teleprompter for take-off and one whose mouth is on auto-emission.
Obama’s IQ is not off the charts. That’s a big lie.
They will not release any of the idiot’s grades from any university. If he were a genius, he would have graduated cum laude at least and not at the bottom of his class.
He would have written some articles after 8 years in Academia. He would have written at least one article while he was President of the Harvard Law Review.
Everything about him says Affirmative Action and ‘race-norming’. His IQ is average if not below average.
Biden has a long, long history of verbal malaprops and often-astonishing flights of jaw-dropping, total, utter idiocy. For example, he proposed sending a check for $500 million to Iran after 9/11 as a way of reaching out... or something, don’t look at me, it makes no sense to me either.
I don’t doubt that he has a high IQ, but then again some of the biggest morons I’ve ever met had high IQs. IQ doesn’t measure horse sense. Biden is a horse’s... well, something other than “sense”.

I agree. I have been in academia for a while and I have seen his type many times. He was never a professor, he was only a lecturer. There is a world of difference between the two.
I often hear his worshippers tout his magna cum laude graduation from Harvard. Most people don’t know that almost every grad from Harvard Law gets that designation. If he were truly an exceptional student there he would have been summa cum laude.

I’ve always looked at the possibility of a President Biden as the ultimate insurance policy against anything that might shorten an Obama term.
They have even more insurance with Pelosi in line after Biden!
