haha.
Let’s see her button in about 6 months, when the USPS “re-organizes”. Trust me on this, postal workers are in for a shock. Think Retail Clerks Union (now the United Food and Commercial Workers) circa the 60’s.

No, because he’s (ugh) the president and their boss, government employees can wear buttons that support him. Now, if they were wearing them during the campaign before he was elected, it’s a different story.

If you would have made the same comment about a Bush button, your complaint is valid.

Prior to the election, a postal worker in my town was wearing an Obama campaign button. I have to believe THAT was a violation.
To: NowApproachingMidnight
Report it to the local postmaster. No politics in the post office no matter who it is for.

You should ask her if the dear leader paid off her mortgage and car payments yet.

There is a picture of the President in every Federal office.

The US Post Office has been owned and operated by the Democrat party since my mother was a little girl in the 1920s. In a poor coal mining town, their kids were the only ones with new clothes. Everyone else wore hand-me-downs.

What is the difference between wearing a picture of the president, and having a picture of the president on the PO wall?

Just for the record.
The USPS does not rely on the Tax Payer dollars for funding. The USPS is a self sustained through the sale of postage and services. While they are running in the red right now, they are still not taking tax dollars.
As far as the USPS Employee wearing an Obama pin. If this was still during the election period the Employee could be sent home and given disciplinary action, but because the “great messiah” (sic) is the President the employee can wear the pin. They are not endorsing a party or candidate at this time, they are supporting the president...no matter how badly they are ill informed.

It would be just as bad to wear a button for ANY president IMHO.
I pledged allegiance to the flag, and not to any man.

What is the difference between wearing a picture of the president, and having a picture of the president on the PO wall? With the highway robbery of the taxpayers, 0bama should have his picture on the PO wall.

I think the Osama buttons should provide an opportunity for others to be wearing Stars and Bars (Confederate Flag) buttons, then, because I am at LEAST as offended by The Messiah buttons as blacks are by Confederate Flags.
