That was the best BSG episode since Adama Sr. got shot. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think Ty is dead though, and yeah I doubt Gaeta can handle it. I just hope Adama holds to his word that it will not be forgiven.
With the exception of Athena, Helo, and Hera, about the only three characters I still care anything at all about, I think I’m hoping Gaeta and Zarek succeed or, at the very least, finally kill off Rosalyn. I’m also starting to wonder if we’re going to wind up with some sort of Matrix-style ending where it’s all not real.
Chuck is going to be in 3D on Monday (using the Superbowl 3D glasses). The syndicated Legend of the Seeker seems to be doing well and Lost seems to be pretty strong and interesting so far. I’m finally watching the final few episodes of Stargate: Atlantis and I don’t think they’re that terrible. The show certainly suffers from massive Mary Sueisms (I guess Jewel Staite’s schtick is to play characters who lust for sex with geeky characters to give geeky science fiction fans some hope that a beautiful woman will someday jump them) and unbridled fanboyishness (please, stop the episodes that revisit characters and plot elements from previous episodes that require a 5 minute “previously on” to set the scene, already), it’s not as if it didn’t inherit those problems from SG-1. I’m sorry to see it go.
That will require a dead Gaeta............among other things.
I like "Fringe." Don't care for the new sub-plot of the "bad" FBI agent who is trying to shut things down. Reminds me of the plot on "House about three years ago with the black owner of the hospital who wanted to make everyone "efficient."
Just noticed on a Stupor Bowl advertisement that the new Star Trek begins on May 8th...
It is also about time for 6 to go psychotic and have one of her killing sprees. Plus the other cylons should be putting in an appearance so everyone can get in on the action. And Baltar needs to go schizoid/evil instead of being a warm fuzzy stoner type mystic. His character seems to have all the trappings of Charles Manson but without the Charles Manson.
I hope they will keep up the tempo and plot changes of the last show. It was refreshing to watch.
...News Corp. also said it had cut 800 positions across its Fox properties, including the 20th Century Fox movie studio, in moves that it expected to save $400 million a year. The Wall Street Journal said Thursday it is cutting about two dozen newsroom positions...
Sarah Connor Chronicles has got to be the most expensive show on Fox TV - ugh - I hope it doesn't get the ax.
