The only AUTHENTIC wing recipe:

Deep fry wings about 7 minutes or until crisp.
DO NOT BREAD, BAKE or COAT before frying.
Pat off excess oil with paper towels.
Sauce- butter or margarine and FRANKS HOT SAUCE.
Shake wings in a sealed bowl with sauce.
Serve with celery sticks and BLUE CHEESE DRESSING.
DO NOT USE RANCH.

This is the way they were made at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo and made in 99.99 % of the places in Buffalo.
All these other ways, baking, teryaki flavored , ARE NOT BUFFALO WINGS.
I grew up there.

Only sauce I’ve ever seen used is 1 stick of butter melted with 1 bottle of Tabasco stirred in.

Deep frying is great but I’m done farting around cleaning up oil splatters, etc. Now I just grill them and it’s fine.

Yes!

The *secret* is to mix butter and hot
sauce to taste, separately, then shake the hot fried wings in the mixture.

If you are really incapable of cooking, buy the Hooter’s brand sauce and pick the *hot* variety. It is made with butter, as are several other brands I have seen.

Provide lots of celery!

I have to add that there are many other varieties of Hot Wings and most of them are pretty good.
