Bright Angel Lodge, Grand Canyon
I was a teenager. when I first saw the Grand Canyon..It had been a long hot drive from Texas and I was not at all excited..We saw what was termed the little grand canyon on the drive up from Flagstaff..I stood there in awe, dropping my bored teenager mode...We stayed at Bright Angel Lodge..where I found another teenager to dance with and pal around with in the evening ..I loved it.
One of my most favorite spots in AZ. is Oak Creek Canyon! Absolutely beautiful! We vacationed there several times when our children were small...camping and fishing.
Sister and hubby lived in Flagstaff for five years and loved it!
