I think Diana in Wisconsin said she had one of those at her garden center. I’m in coastal NC, so a cellar is out of the question. For one thing, the water table is too close to the surface—nobody around here has a basement. It always sends me into gales of laughter when the Nat Weather Service issues a tornado warning for here. “Seek shelter in the nearest basement.” Ummm, that would be prob at least a hundred miles from here. LOL

It doesn’t get cold enough here for a cellar, either. :) It sounds like a lot of fun, visiting one. I love the greenhouse and the way it smells.

Into the Empty Age

America, America, how I hate to see you go
beaten down by socialist plays we all know
Truth is not in them, we suffer more each day
they focus to see their backers get their due pay
Washington is filled with voices echoing Marx
and they say we need to pay for go-kart parks
Money now but paper, trust but just a word
and in simple honesty that is all we’ve heard
What’s going on in old Foggy Bottoms I say
is Un-American in each and every bitter way
Will those who call themselves, leaders, lead
all the while, socialism takes a deadly bead
Our culture is divided, straining to fly apart
where is that once great nation’s good heart
Apathy, false PC, vicious leftist venom drips
etches our strength, as the welfare mindsets rip
If we endure, a miracle, from DC so deranged
as an imitation in the oval promising change
Hammer and Sickle types cheer in mental mange
can’t see the cost of that long sought evil’s range
Bless us all I say, as the media slobbers at his call
as he presides at the magnificent monument’s fall
Black days are a coming, and piles of needless pain
brought on by those whose act is clearly so insane
They will forge a heart of tempered steel we’ll ply
when the revolution of the right is set free to fly
We’ll beat them with their Hammer that we keep
like grain the Sickle will cut them down as we reap
The battle is set in motion and the war begun
and they will pay the price before America is done
