Thank you, Dita...It makes want to go find a big puddle after a rain and see what it reflects.
We had some moisture..no rain today..I would love a good rainstorm.

quick hello..I will hopefully catch up on all the posts here soon. I am sure it was wonderful here with all the valentine graphics!

returned exhausted from intense 4 day weekend to visit with my brother in Oklahoma city & see the play he wrote/directed. wonderful time but NOT the travel. I do love flying but anymore it is nothing but hassle it seems

Brother retired from AF & at Timkin in 90s as SMSGT & decided to stay in area.

Complications both ways in tripe: air travel.. En route - bumped three times off 2nd leg of flight & spent night in hotel near Detroit airport rather than with my brother in OKC The “night in Detroit” was actually 5 hours. Arrived at hotel at 11 PM & had to be back at airport at 4AM

Trip back was “interesting”. The first leg from OK city to OHare - routine.. In OHare (DO NOT LIKE BIG AIRPORTS).. it was again a comedy of errors.

My departure gate was changed to F11 - which is like a cul de sac. All are small planes at a hub & all outdoor entrances.. up plane steps etc. There were about 9 planes gearing up. They called out & boarded 5 planes at once thru one common gate.. go outside to windy cold & no clue which plane goes where. So we all start walking around.. Des Moines? Akron? Charleston WV? Ft Wayne etc. 3 times many of us walking together bound for Akron get on wrong plane.

Comic relief was when flight attendant closed door & announced ..”Making sure, everyone going to New Orleans”.. MAD laughter & she says just kidding..Akron. This boarding process of checking out planes in dark outside took at least half hour.

I mention to her out loud (I am in 4th row).. Our luggage is going to another plane(my blue piece is very distinctive) .. It was. She said, it will get here. It didn't .. I told her again.. same response.. AGAIN & this time she checked & sure enough it was being loaded onto another plane & had to be taken off & brought to ours. . The crew workers outside obviously had the same confusion we as passengers & flight crews did.

Once we “sort of” were getting started the flight attendant mentioned that she hoped no one needed to used the commode as the flushing mechanism wasn't working. Didn't think anyone would want to wait overnight for that correction. Applause. During the dispersion of complimentary beverages, I found out they didn't give her ICE (HORRORS) or anything other than water & coffee(which was luke warm) .. Mix up with the concessions delivery also. I was ready for a bloody Mary!

Flight sat at gate almost 2 hours. and then on runway another hour. Nice to not have rest room use.

As I said, I DO NOT like LARGE airports. Detroit & Chicago on this trip were bummer experiences. Akron/canton & Will Rogers were great.

Dogs were good & very glad to see me. They slept on hour trip home & so obviously were worn out at the great facility they were boarded. Wheelbarrow was nice enough to do the airport & dog pick up/drop offs.

Outstanding but modified trip to my brothers. The play he wrote was well received. Sunday morning it was nice to see friends at his church. Had not been to OKC since 2003. My brother gets here yearly. The cowboy Hall of Fame was nice.

Poor wheelbarrow is toothless. He has been getting plates done at the Dental college. It is 2 years already they are working on them. He leaves the area for good Feb 28 & they still aren't done with him. Took his teeth upper/lower plates yesterday & he will have then out til Friday & may need to go back 2 more times during his busy last week of packing out.

SPOILED BIG TIME by using my brothers 24” I-Mac! wow. incredible screen & programs slick for photo work. Their 52” plasma was nice to watch the All Star Game on Sunday night too.

Below is pix of me & my niece (she is the YOUNG PRETTY ONE!) at her apartment in Edmund, Ok. She is a senior in Interior Design. Want you all to see my red hair - which I do each year for valentines day .. experiment with brands , colors, etc. Every year different. I am about half way done with pix I took from the play, church next morning, Hibaci/Sushi bar sunday after church & the Cowboy Hall of Fame Sunday afternoon
