I am so spoiled with mostly sunny days but I know what we need is rain.
I am going to try to hire someone to come to do the big nandina heavy pruning..must be done by March 1st or I lose blooms which means no berries. I did it last year but my back objected loudly.

Yes, do hire someone to trim your nandina, MEG. Nothing is worth being laid up with a bad back for weeks.
