I had hoped to get here earlier today.
We went to the memorial service for my cousin this afternoon.
There were so many cousins and other relatives and ex-relatives that I had not seen for ages.
We all regretted that funerals are the only time we get together anymore.
It was impossible to leave early; so many memories to share.

Isn't it a shame that we only see many relatives at funerals..but it is always wonderful to see them despite the sad occasion. Condolences for the loss of your cousin, Amy
