it could be Phelps. He used to smoke the competition now he smokes the funny stuff.

Who cares? He’s a 23 year old kid. Everybody come clean about your own habits at that age before throwing stones.

After all these years... Italy’s Alberto Tomba smoking an espresso through a bong ... still realing from Katerina Witt kicking him to the curb at the Norway games ... maybe ;-)

Probably Phelps... I am saddened. I understand that while all his pals were partying, for years he was in the pool, and now probably feels it’s “his turn” but he is truly a hero to a lot of little kids. It’s sad. I wish he could have been more discreet.

I’d say Jamaica’s Usiah Bolt, 100 meter gold medalist and world record holder. He is Jamaican after all.

Phelps is not too bright....if it is him, I hope he wises up and can get a job somewhere....he won’t be any hero anymore.

No surprise to me. He’s from Baltimore and it was news a few years ago when he got a DUI. A friend of a friend knows Phelps and says he loves Land Rovers so much he buys a new one every year. Gets “tired of them” after a few months. The offer to cover up the story does not help.

Phelps was just named USOC atlete of the year. He is also High Times Athlete of the Year. High Times is doing a feature on him with the cover being a bong with 8 gold medals around it. He nudged out the USA snow boatding team.
