I’m am so sorry for the loss of your Copper. I know how very hard it is. I lost my Sammy (13 yr. old Cocker Spaniel) on June 28th of 2008. He was my love and he also passed away here at home after a very difficult night. He was my comfort and I miss hugging him and loving him. He will always be in my heart.

Here is another good pet loss forum: http://www.lightning-strike.com/forum/index.php . It helped me when I lost my first sheltie to use the forum to write and express the sadness of losing my Caesar. There are compassionate folks there who have been through what you are experiencing now and can give you support to help you through your grief. You might also want to consider reading a book by conservative talk show host, Mark Levin, called , "Rescuing Sprite" which deals with pet loss.

I hope you will be comforted in the days ahead and might be able to consider, at a future point in time, to enjoy the companionship of another furry friend.
