A buddy of mine is a South African cop in Cape Town. He tells some very scary stories if I let him. South Africa is an amazingly violent country: there is no equivalent place in the United States (thank God).

“More than 50 suspects die every month in South Africa from bullets or at the hands of police in a country which has one of the world’s highest crime rates.”
Which I guess goes to show that criminals ARE stupid. Anyone who’d take that risk in a country like that gets what they deserve.

Lol. At my previous job another one of the DoD contractors had a buddy in Cape Town. He said the last time he visited his buddy they were walking down the street and his buddy said hold on. His buddy pulled out his pistol and fired on another guy across the street. He told me that when he asked his buddy why he shot at him it's because he didn't like him.
It seems to be the wild west in South Africa.
