FYI Golden Eagle, it was a problem unique to Mozilla browsers. Yet another freeware product, apparently using them is how you get "screwed" (your words).
Apparently the problem has been fixed.
Not according to aft_lizard's latest posts. Meanwhile I have offered him a method to help get to the bottom of it, and prevent such issues in the future.

Yet another freeware product, apparently using them is how you get "screwed" (your words).AVG antivirus, the culprit here, is PROPRIETARY, not open source. If you were using ClamAV, or the Window$ version, ClamWin, THEN you might have an argument, but i doubt it.
As i have the paid for version of the product and do not have the problem, it is evident that AVG got it fixed.
Now go slime some other thread.
