A few days ago, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi attempted to justify putting abortion funding in the Stimulus Package. For Nancy, killing babies would relieve the strain on our educational and health care systems. Fewer people, fewer expenses, or perhaps better benefits for those who actually survive birth and infancy. She specifically referred to using billions of our dollars overseas to support these policies because since socialism, corrupt dictatorships and our money and technology has not relieved world poverty, we’ll simply reduce the number of people in poverty by reducing the number of people. Absolutely brilliant.
The question may be raised, why are we responsible for the poverty of....name poor country run by corrupt and brutal dictator? Because in Nancy’s world, we, as the “rich” of the world, need to “give back”. What we were ever given in the first place by all these other countries, I don’t know. But President Obama and his Democrat cohorts want to make us responsible for the rest of the world, their health care and now, their reproductive lives. They don’t seem to understand that in the vast majority of cases, our aid simply helps to prop up these brutal dictators and warlords. Another question. If we are in such difficult straits right now, why are we not focusing on our own house? How can we afford to start sending billions more dollars overseas for abortions? Is this really a priority?
I have a suggestion for Mrs. Pelosi, however. If she really wants this money she needs a new angle. In my humble opinion, she should sell it as part of the war on terror. She should direct the monies specifically at Muslim countries in the Middle east. After all, if we can reduce poverty by reducing the number of poor people, could we not reduce terrorism by reducing the number of Muslims?
Muslims don’t want abortion, they want martyrs.
Pelosi strikes me as someone in a federal witless protection program.

No! NO! NO!
But there won’t be fewer babies. There will be fewer babies born to Americans and more born to...guess who? Abortion advocates also tend to be against curbing illegal immigration, so all increased abortion [isn’t 50 million enough?] will do is accelerate the rapid change in demographics that is already taking place.
And given that those we are importing to replace our fallen children are over-represented with respect to crime, illiteracy and welfare dependency, what Pelosi is proposing will cost us even MORE.
Our births are not keeping up with deaths, thus our population is aging. We don’t need fewer American babies. We need fewer babies born to illegals. That can be curbed by removing the ‘anchor baby’ incentive by making it so those born in the US are citizens of their birth-mother’s country.
We can also save money by eating children, especially the poor ones.

I shudder that this woman has any position of responsibility in the American Government. I shudder that this woman is given a media forum to spout this insidious garbage.
BTW, how much airplay did this get OUTSIDE the conservative media, I wonder?
The further we slide into socialism the fewer babies Americans have. It seems to be a western or european phenomenon because nothing stops socialist asian or latin Americans from having babies.

Nancy wants to solve the world’s population problems through Genocide.
The first thing Nancy needs to do is leave my Church.
If she wont leave,my Church needs to throw her out,excommunicant that she is. It’s time the catholic face up to their problems. First it was pedophile priests they wouldn’t get rid of , now its genocidal politicians like Pelosi and Kennedy and any other Cathloic politician that wants to get elected by supporting the death of the unborn.
It’s time to stop ignoring these people and let them go seek their religion with the witches and warlocks they represent.

I do not think that is too far from the truth. A fitting warning to her heinousness.
If we wanted to keep abortion safe, legal, and “rare”, we would impose a $10,000 tax on it.
It encourages illegal immigrant Catholic Mexican women to flee to America and drop an anchor baby. I’d bet that under this provision, they can even seek political asylum as their homeland (funded by US tax payers) is seeking to force them to have an abortion against their religion.
It is about shifting the political numbers by eradicating the future generations of native born and educated Americans, replacing it with people who do not see socialism as an ugly word.
Indeed. More than Continental Europeans, Latin Americans have a strong tradition of tolerating oppression and look upon government as a paternalistic entity.
They tend to consider government much like the weather; something one complains about but can’t really do anything about.
What a perfect constituency for the Obamites!
