I never liked Madden as an analyst. His commentary consists of a stream of comic books words like “bam” and “pow” and discussing the grass stuck in a player’s face mask. The late Hank Stram was the best commentator ever. He actually told you the play BEFORE it happened based on the situation, formation and tendencies of the team. Now HE was an analyst!
