I end up calling them by their first names, because I realize they are people first. Its difficult for me to bite my tongue and say, Father, or Doctor or Bishop. Folks who don't know my name just call me "professor". I've picked up that moniker half a dozen times already, under independent milieus.
I wonder why?

I think it’s easier to call people by their titles, because that way I don’t have to remember, or pronounce, their names!
