You should know better than to dig too deeply into things that I say. First examine the surface meaning: In this case I was making a joke about Hopie and Changey, nothing more.

If what I say makes apparent sense, then there probably is a hidden meaning that is not so obvious. That's when you do your research.

For example, my jest about Roman Logarithms. That was nonsense, meant to go no further.

However, if I spoke about Charles Babbage's mental gears, there could just be more to my meaning.
