Got an Acer Aspire w/ Windows XP. Love it!!!! I can slip it in my bag if I or the kids have an appointment. If there’s a long wait...we have it. I don’t have a network card, yet (too expensive) but I can hook my cell phone up and use it as a modem. :)

I’ve got an HP 1030NR and love it. XP, 16 gig flash memory, 2 gig backup drive. Wireless and bluetooth. Cheap and good for editing docs and surfing, which is about all I do. I can sit in the living room, keep an eye on the kids, and grouse on FR.
