“Read the label. Try to find any food prduct without HFCS. It is impossible”.
...not so. I’m as conservative as they come, but I go to “Whole Foods” and other Marxist hang outs to get HFCS free foods. You pay more, but it tastes better and IS better for you. There are very few commercial products that ARE good for you.

I’m right there with you, albie. I eat organic and there is not one product in my house that contains high fructose corn syrup.

I like to grow my own food, and I also like to purchase meat, dairy, and produce from local farmers; I feel like I am putting money back into the community, and it tastes much better too.

I am very allergic to all corn products and it is very hard to avoid them, so I shop mostly at Whole Foods. Not for the “organics” but because most items have no corn syrup and no MSG. They do use maltodextrin in some baked goods, it is a flavor enhancer made from corn, I can tell when I have eaten it because my throat gets tight. Corn in other forms gives me a headache.

Trader Joe's is similar, but with lower prices and slightly less leftist mojo.
I recall reading how HFCS somehow keeps you from feeling full as quickly, so you end up eating more than you otherwise would.
