It just removed a painful piece of malware on my laptop.

I think it was Spyware 2009.

The free version actually works. The only difference between the free and paid version is that the free version DOES NOT include the root directory clean-up process. Then you have the DL the FREE Spybot S&D to take care of that problem.

I had the Vundo malware on my office pc for the entire day when MCAFEE was not able to detect it (that’s why we never subcribed to McAfee afterwards). Both AVG and Spybot worked, believ it or not. The only thing wasted was our time and not money.
