Interesting design. Not good for swords, clearly. As a bike helmet I’d be concerned about how much leverage that low neck exerts on the top of the spine, in the case of a sharp blow to the forehead. Could be a real effective neckbreaker. Like a pop-top. :-)
But it has some interesting potential.
Needs a cross rib across the center.
