I wonder if anyone can share any information or clarification on the Internet rumors that Obama is a member of a “Prince” Lodge?

Just rumors. If he was a member of a Prince Hall lodge, I imagine that lodge would be shouting it to the high heavens.

He isn’t. The rumor started when the Prince Hall Lodge was putting on an inauguration ball and fundraiser for any brethren who happened to be in town. In this announcement, they made a specific statement that neither Obama nor Biden where Masons, however, they where invited to the ball.

Correction on previous, it wasn’t a Prince Hall ball, it was a Grand Lodge hosted ball.
