There can be only one logical outcome to having a President more concerned about advancing liberal causes than he is about protecting the nation. A whole lot of dead citizens.

The President’s role is to protect and defend the Const. Not to create a nanny state and take away my rights.

If it’s the role of gov’t to keep us safe then throw away the ideas of driving, having guns, raising kids and playing football.

It is my job to keep myself safe and exercise my rights.

We shall see what happens in the future, but being ‘safe’ is not a right.

Actually the first thing Obama was clearly interested in was "gay rights", or maybe the opportunity to post sexual innuendo on the Whitehouse.gov website ~ which would indicate a devoted interest in his private parts.

The terrorists are second in his mind.

You can do a lot of schtick with that, and I expet it's being written as we speak eh!~

The lessons of 9-11 are a distant memory.
This President lives in a liberal fantasy land where he thinks playing nice will make them not want to kill us.
Same fantasy land that thinks giving government more power and money will work if it is the “right” people doing it.

If this nation survives his presidency without a major terror attack on the nation, military or embassys I will be quite surprised. Of course these decisions can cause problems well BEYOND Obama’s term in office.
Clinton and 9-11 is proof of that.

He says that they may be guilty but that the cases may have been compromised by the techniques. Sounds like the same excuse as to why his terrorist pal Bill Ayers is as free as a bird (thank Mr. Deep Throat, he’s the one who botched the case).

The worst that can happen is the destruction and undermining of our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Disregarding and mangling these hallowed documents is tyranny in the making and might require the watering of the Tree of Liberty. Secondly, letting the UN empire have power over said documents is another quisling trick that must be watched very closely as the traitors move to consolidate and shift the government towards the tyranny side and away from rule by the people. They work for us, not we for them who think the serfs are their property.

“I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. ‘Tis the business of little minds to shrink; but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death.” —Thomas Paine

Obviously you don’t understand. Everyone, everywhere is going to LOVE Hussein. No one will threaten us. No one will attack us. It was only the EEEEEEVIL Bush who caused all of our world problems. Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah et al. will now join the rest of humanity and bow down to the newly ordained Messiah. I hope that’s clear. P.S.: I’ve purchased 2 new rifles and 2000 rounds of ammunition over the past 6 months, just in case a few folks should miss this post. Or in the event our Messiah should overturn the 2nd amendment...for the greater good, of course. You might consider following that example. Just a thought.

ARE YOU SAFER TODAY THAN YOU WERE ON JAN 19, 2009?

Every executive order, every law, all the propaganda must be closely scrutinized for signs of decreased national security.

The Constitution makes it abundantly clear that the PRIMARY role of a President is to protect the country.

Doesn't matter.
It is obvious that the founders of the republic never, in their wildest nightmares, imagine our "brave new world" of penumbras, political correctness, and "living document."

Had they done so, they might have added "failure to perform the duties required by the office" to "high crimes and misdemeanors", as a duty to impeach all federal officers for cause.

In other words, as a result, if they don't perform, there ain't no penalty!
