I have a friend who had this industrial dump kind of place behind the building where she worked. This furry mangey dog kept lurking about there and my friend would take scraps from the night before and leave out for the dog. Finally the dog would get close to her and visit her (this is how my crazy friend spent her lunch hour). It was not long her husband said, ok you can bring the dog here. She is the sweetest dog, kind of a collie/retriever-ish kind of mutt. Now who would leave a creature like that to scrounge around a dump and live in pipes in the dead of winter?

I just have a soft spot because from these little guys, whose name spelled backwards is g-o-d I've learned the meaning of real devotion and unconditional love. Besides, I've never had one human that howled and pranced around simply because I came home, have you? Hehehe.....:-)

I ahve posted this snippet before. I was nicknamed Ellie Mae years ago. Now I am getting a bit :smarter”. Vet bills are are costly. I am down to to two little house puppies and two wolved. Hopefully the wolves have babies this year, not holding my breath though.

We were at six until the past two years, the other two died. One of old age and the other I believe a stroke.

I use to walk out of my house and have raccoons jumping on my shoulders and trying to get in my car with me.....
