One Sunday years ago my buddy Marcus, God bless his doggy soul, came in off the deck and stole a cookie which he secreted back out to the deck. He enjoyed his last cookie and promptly expired. He was 10 years old and had congestive heart failure. I miss him still.

He’s so handsome!!! I’m very sorry for your loss. I don’t know what I will do when that time comes. Princess, my brindle, has been my friend, shrink, tear-dryer and shoulder to cry on through 4 deployments. I know I will never own another dog like her.

Our Bischon died 5 months ago. My wife was heartbroken (so was I). I want another dog but she says no way she’ll ever go through that again. Any advice on how to get her to changes her mind?
