I had my grandmother, born in 1900, to tell me how to behave like a lady and not a heathen. LOL "Cross your ankles, NOT your knees" and other such admonitions. Bless all the old ones who gave us their best. :-)

It is day time, and a suit looks very well. If a dress, a coat added would be OK. A suit can be dignified, conservative and fit the occasion. A dress is nice for evening wear.

Reagan, Bush 41, Bush 43 — none would consider entering the room without being fully dressed. The b@$t@rd has a an anteroom and the upstairs quarters where he can be in shirtsleeves.
