I need to suck-up to my boss.
He is a scotch drinker. I know nothing about scotch.
What can I purchase for him that will really impress him?
A bowling ball? From a T-Shirt: “My drinking team has a bowling problem”
What did you do to piss him off?
Any would do... just don’t have it on your breath when you give it to him. LOL .. Afterward, however...
“I need help being a suck-up”
Well.........you started out good!
Nothing. I just need to jockey for position.
The cheapest stuff you can find and then grovel.
Macallan. Go for the 20 year single malt.
Take a page from the Lindsay Graham playbook. Lindsay is the biggest suck up in America and will do things to curry favor with the Dems that even some Dems won’t do. This of course will mean you have to say and do things that you would be ashamed of in the sober state, and your friends will eventually leave you. The point is, if you want to suck up to your boss, you may be the one that needs to drink the Scotch.
Chivas Regal.Mind number of choice for Kennedy klan.
Scotch, is a mans drink if you know nothing of Scotch go forth and educate yourself.
Single malt, as old as you can afford. There are some that are sort of “boutique-ish” and peculiar; Laphroiag springs to mind, too much smoke and peat. Stick with tried and true, such as Macallan.
I don't grovel very well. It'd be easier to spend the dough.
I’m partial to Glenfiddich, myself. Also recommend “the Balvanie Doublewood”.
Well said, Bravo.
“Old Sheep Dip” single malt scotch. Excellent whiskey and a fun name.
“Whisky is the traditional drink of British farmers, and in certain parts of the country it is affectopmately known as “Sheep Dip’. From that custom comes the name of our Malt Whisky. This whisky, distilled traditionally by pot still in the Highlands of Scotland, is an eight year old malt of the very hightest quality and excellence. “

I’d say to hell with that.Let your boss by his own Liquor,or invite him out for a drink.Than you’ll see what he likes.
