Me too!! I already have it ready to go out in the morning!! I was sad that my “communist” neighbors have gone to the inauguration and will not be able to enjoy this occasion since they live directly across the street from me!!! Oh, well, there will be other days, I guess.

I'm flying out of the country (Praise the Lord).
I'll be back Friday. My only regret is that I didn't leave a day earlier (because undoubtedly I'll wander into eye shot of the ever present CNN screens at the airport, and I'll feel the need to vomit)...
At least I'll miss the afternoon non-stop homage and worship sessions - and Wednesday's post-ascension wrap-up.
Hopefully things will be back to semi-normal by Friday...

I will probably have my kids watch some of the inauguration because it IS historical, no matter who is being inaugurated. They should at least know what an inauguration is and what it looks like.

We are doing the opposite. Our children won't be watching TV for days until the whoopla is over. I am afraid to send them to school too, as I betcha the TV's will be running in school.
