I can’t buy ammo here without one. I did call the local ammo shop and he’s not haveing any shortages. He said the FOID is running around 60 days but I’ve waited longer than that.
What state requires FOID for ammo purchase? Illinois or Massachusetts?
Illinois. And Iowa won’t sell to Illinois residents.
I bet you can’t buy online and get it shipped to your door either. We will probably all be in the same boat soon. I can remember just a few years ago when 8mm mil surplus was going for $24.95 per 700 rounds and 308/30-06 was about $79 per 500 rounds. I should have put my 401K into ammo!
