We burned witches on a stick before we became a superpower.

Move along, nothing to see here. All cultures are equal. If we were more culturally sensitive, we’d better understand the reasoning behind frog weddings.

We’re not burning witches today, aren’t we? (Unless Hillary accidentally walks to my fireplace)

We burned witches on a stick before we became a superpower. That is a lie, popularized by emotionally distraught liberals who seek to slander their own country.
Absolutely no witches were burned during the Salem Witch Trials. They were hanged or drowned, but none were burned.
I hope this clears things up.

We burned witches on a stick before we became a superpower.Nope, we never burned witches, we hanged 'em.
New York City burned purported slave rebels at the stake, but they wasn't witches.

Perhaps the most to be said for this weird religious practice is that it’s less dangerous than handling poisonous snakes.
Or... lie down with frogs, wake up with cheese? Er, wrong kind of frogs...

According to this site, also. . .

about 24 “witches” were killed. That is 24 too many, in my opinion (I doubt many were actually witches, anyway, and they had no proper defense, etc.) However, it was 24, not the thousands that Christian haters would have you believe.
