I agree with Scully, but overall the list looks kinda New Yorky to me. And Bob Costas as #6 overall is a farce.
You're entirely correct, and his recent injection of his liberal political diatribes into his radio show repel me to the point I cannot watch or listen to him.
Having said that, however, he did have a moment that I recall frequently with some amusement. In the Dodgers' locker room following their victory in the 1988 World Serious, Costas interviewed the Dodgers' President and then their manager, the bombastic Tommy Lasorda. Costas turned to Tommy and simply said, "You don't need a question. Make your statement."
