Wow...I am surprised anyone remembered. Yes, OCC, I was boots on the ground which meant that I helped unload the planes when they landed. I was in the bus with the cross on it and I was also at Landshtul handing off the Wounded to the hosp care. We were stationed at Ramstein where the planes landed and we got to house the less critically wounded there. I retired in Sept 08. I especially did not want a person who I don't consider a Patriot signing my retirement papers. Thank you kindly for remembering. I was at work when I noticed the post. I don't sign in at work so I had to wait to come home to post. It brought tears to my eyes...Martha
