Hope you had a Happy Birthday and a super dinner last night MozartLover. I think if you had cake, you could have skipped the ice cream last night.

Question: Why is it that media excitedly praises the skill and EXPERIENCE of the pilot yesterday, but thinks that o's LACK OF EXPERIENCE is o.k. for him to be the pilot of our Ship of State?
Actually when the waitress found out it was my birthday she said "Why didn't you tell me? You could have had our free birthday sundae!"
I told her that was fine, wasn't really in the mood for ice cream.:)
There were hardly any customers; all the sane people were inside under a cozy quilt sipping cocoa in front of a roaring fire.
As it was I had two coupons for free desserts from an online survey I took last summer, plus a $5.00 off coupon, plus, and this was the kicker, a $50 gift certificate; so we not only ate for free, we got change back!!:-)
So I didn't feel bad about leaving our sweet waitress a generous tip especially since she wasn't going to have many customers due to the weather.
Schools around here are all closed again today. At the moment the air temp is -17; windchill -30.
