Garofalo recently said she will not be back after this season. She said that the role didn’t give her enough to do. Oh well.
Interestingly, the guy who created the part for her was conservative producer Joel Surnow. He didn’t care what her political views were. However, she almost turned down the role because of his politics. But she took it because she was unemployed. What a great attitude.
To admit that you almost turned down a role because of someone’s personal beliefs is basically admitting to open discrimination!
Crikey, an incompetent, talentless Marxist twit like that getting overpaid to be on a programme that any drama-loving American would do for scale? Good grief, given my former profession, I can do that ridiculous technobabblespeak a la '24' in my sleep...and have done, on occasion ;^) .
Too bad Cernow quit. I've some misgivings about this year's programme...but will, of course, be watching faithfully.
