I've worked as a prosecutor. Defendants always piss and moan about the unprofessionalism of the police, but I have yet to see any when I pull the tapes.

thats the main reason i wanted to fight it because i knew if the cop car had the video the audio would vindicate me...and show that i did not threaten the officer nor resist arrest... but i was broke and didn’t have 3000 dollars for a decent lawyer and my cousin’s alternative would get me out with no risks ( I still regret not fighting)

the exact police report stated that i said “ i’m going to kill you officer your dead if I don’t get you somebody else will”

which was not what i said all I said was that God sees everything and there is always karma

why didn’t the police officer write what i said??? because he knew that wasn’t enough to arrest me for

i’m getting angry now that i’m going back on my mind with every detail because i knew i would have won that case but to defend myself i would have basically not pay my bills for 3 months...

Thank God for tapes - as coincidence would have it - many criminals are also liars. And without the tapes, those unfamiliar with sociopaths might find them believable.
