I look forward to the day when referees just make wild guesses on the field and the guys up in the booth, watching the TV, make the final guess.

Oh yeah. That's how it's done now.

Well at least for now the amateurs down on the field get the benefit of the guess. And they can always call holding on either team at any time, on any play (and be right) no matter what.
