I’ll be shocked if Tebow leaves college early to play. As a homeschooling mom I have a feeling that getting his degree is a little higher on his priority list.

That said, this FOOTBALL-LOVING homeschooling mom (go Steelers!!! I’m sure that’ll get some mixed reactions) can’t wait to see who he ultimately ends up with!

I have a feeling that getting his degree is a little higher on his priority list.

I argued the same thing years ago with my bro-in-law when Tiger Woods left Stanford to go on the PGA tour full time. As evidenced by his success, I was completely wrong.

A final year of college can be completed any time in this young man's life. An NFL signing contract will make him financially secure for the rest of his life and allow him the finances to do whatever God wills him to do in respect to his religious convictions.

A final year of college football could result in a career ending injury with no payout other than a degree.......

I’ve never though Teboe was THAT GOOD. Until last night. He proved to me he should have won the H two years in a row. This kid can’t be stopped. And I love that he always gives the glory to his “Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”.

I think Tebow will stay at UF too, but more than one pro player has gone back to get his degree after a lucrative career. Getting a degree at 21/22 v. 35 or 60 (Joe Namath) is not really a big deal. Think about the Queen rocker who spent 30 years in showbiz, then went back to get his Ph.D. in astrophysics.

Staying in school another year or two will help them mature, but both players come from solid families and seem to have pretty good heads on their shoulders. And, let’s face it, Tebow/Bradshaw will make many many times the income of their PBK classmates.
